HomeHaven FAQs

Products & Materials

What makes HomeHaven rugs different?

HomeHaven curates washable rugs and home comforts designed for real life. Our Lahome collections combine cloud-soft faux wool, non-slip TPE backing, low-pile durability, and machine-washable convenience—so you get beauty, comfort, and easy care in one piece.

What are the rugs made of?

Most of our washable rugs are made from faux wool and polyester, with a rubber or TPE non-slip backing. They are low-pile, soft underfoot, and designed to resist shedding and stains. Our kitchen mats are made from waterproof, oil-resistant PVC with a cushioned anti-fatigue surface.

Are these rugs soft?

Yes. Many of our collections feature a cloud-soft faux wool texture that feels gentle underfoot while remaining durable for everyday use. They are low-pile, so they work well in high-traffic areas and under furniture.

Do the rugs shed or pill?

Our rugs are designed to be low-shed and durable. With proper care—regular vacuuming and machine washing when needed—they maintain their softness and appearance over time.

Washing & Care

Are HomeHaven rugs machine washable?

Yes. Most of our Lahome rugs are machine washable. We recommend using a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent, then air-drying or tumble-drying on low. Always check the specific product page for detailed care instructions.

How often should I wash my rug?

For everyday maintenance, vacuum regularly. For a deeper clean, machine wash every few months or as needed—especially in homes with pets or children. Spot-clean small spills right away with a damp cloth.

Can I put the rug in the dryer?

We recommend air-drying whenever possible. If you use a dryer, choose a low-heat, gentle setting. Avoid high heat, which can damage the backing or fibers.

How do I clean the kitchen mats?

Our anti-fatigue kitchen mats are easy to clean. Simply wipe with a damp cloth, sponge, or mild soap and water. They are waterproof and oil-resistant, so spills don’t soak in. Vacuum away dust and crumbs as needed.

Non-Slip & Safety

Do I need a separate rug pad?

No. Most HomeHaven washable rugs come with a built-in non-slip TPE or rubber backing, so no additional rug pad is needed. They stay securely in place on hard floors, tile, and laminate.

Will the rug slip on wood floors?

Our non-slip backing is designed to grip hard surfaces, including wood, tile, and vinyl. For best results, make sure the floor is clean and dry before placing the rug.

Are the rugs safe for kids and pets?

Absolutely. Our rugs are pet- and kid-friendly, with non-slip backing, soft low-pile fibers, and stain-resistant surfaces. They are designed for playrooms, nurseries, living rooms, and other family spaces.

Sizes & Styling

What sizes do you offer?

We offer a wide range of sizes, from small accent rugs (2’ x 3’) and runners (2’ x 6’, 2.5’ x 8’) to large living room rugs (8’ x 10’, 9’ x 12’, 10’ x 14’) and round options. Available sizes vary by design.

How do I choose the right rug size?

For living rooms, choose a rug large enough to sit under the front legs of your sofa and chairs. For bedrooms, a rug that extends at least 18–24 inches beyond each side of the bed works well. Runners are perfect for hallways and kitchens. If you’re unsure, our team is happy to help.

Can I fold the rug for storage?

Yes. Many of our rugs are foldable, making them easy to store, move, or rotate between rooms. Folding also makes them convenient for small spaces and seasonal styling.

Will the rug have creases after unfolding?

Light creases may appear after unpacking. They usually relax within a few days. You can also lay the rug flat, walk on it, or gently steam the backside to help it settle.

Stains & Durability

Are the rugs stain-resistant?

Yes. Our faux wool and polyester rugs are designed to resist stains and everyday messes. For best results, blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth and avoid rubbing.

Are they suitable for high-traffic areas?

Yes. The low-pile construction and durable backing make our rugs a great choice for living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, entryways, and offices.

Will the colors fade?

Our rugs are made with colorfast materials. To prolong their beauty, avoid placing them in direct, intense sunlight for extended periods.

Kitchen Mats

What are anti-fatigue kitchen mats?

Our kitchen mats are cushioned mats designed to reduce pressure on your feet, legs, and back while you stand—perfect for cooking, cleaning, or working at a desk.

Are they waterproof and oil-resistant?

Yes. The PVC surface is waterproof and oil-resistant, helping protect your floors from spills and stains. They are easy to wipe clean.

Do the kitchen mats have non-slip backing?

Yes. They feature a non-slip backing to keep them securely in place on kitchen floors.

Find your place to feel at home

Washable rugs and home décor in patterns made to express your style.

At HomeHaven, we believe your home should be more than just a place you live. It should be a haven—soft, safe, beautiful, and easy to love every day.

HomeHaven was born from a simple idea: you shouldn’t have to choose between style and practicality. A rug can be stunning and still survive real life. It can feel cloud-soft underfoot and still be machine washable. It can bring vintage charm, boho warmth, or modern elegance into your space—and still be pet-friendly, kid-friendly, and effortless to clean.

That’s why we curate washable rugs and home comforts designed for real homes and real moments. From muddy paws and morning coffee spills to playtime, movie nights, and cozy corners, our collections are made to handle everyday life without sacrificing beauty.

Designed for Real Life

Our collections include Lahome washable rugs and home essentials known for their thoughtful blend of comfort, durability, and design. Many of our rugs feature:

Machine washable construction for easy care
Non-slip TPE backing—no additional rug pad needed
Cloud-soft faux wool and low-pile textures

Design With Soul

We believe home décor should tell your story. Our designs draw inspiration from French gardens, Persian traditions, vintage florals, boho botanicals, jungle landscapes, animal motifs, and modern maximalism.

You’ll find soft creams, deep forest greens, timeless navy, warm terracotta, gentle blush, and bold black accents—palettes that layer beautifully across bedrooms, living rooms, dining spaces, nurseries, offices, kitchens, and playrooms.

From romantic scalloped florals to bold leopard prints and whimsical jungle animals, every HomeHaven piece is chosen to bring warmth, character, and a sense of calm into your home.

Our Promise

We are committed to bringing you home décor that is beautiful enough to style, comfortable enough to live on, durable enough for everyday life, and easy enough to clean and maintain.

At HomeHaven, we don’t just sell rugs. We help you create a home that feels softer, safer, warmer, and more yours.
